ARTEA is the project owner for the renovation of “L’Hôtel des Postes,” an iconic site of cultural and architectural heritage that is designated a national monument in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The conversion of this emblematic building was the subject of a call for ideas in 2015, but no proposal was selected.
Our project aims to restore and sublimate the cultural and architectural dimension of the Hôtel des Postes. Its conversion will also restore the building's original appearance, notably by removing the metal structures that currently enclose the inner courtyard, as well as the central wing that bisects the building.
The new purpose of the Hôtel des Postes must be commensurate with the importance of this cultural and architectural heritage for the people of Luxembourg. In its new setting, it will be a place open to a variety of clientele: Luxembourgers first and foremost, tourists, businessmen and women, and anyone attracted by the discovery of a magical new place.

With a total area of 8,600 m², the ground floor, featuring an interior courtyard, will house a restaurant, a bar, retail spaces, and the lobby of a luxury hotel designed to meet the standards of this new generation of hotels. The spaces on the first through fourth floors will be reserved for hotel accommodations and coworking. The basement will be dedicated to a wellness area accessible to everyone.
